Hello Sunshine!

Yay for Spring, I feel it in my fingers, I feel it in my toes :P.
Yes, my prayers were answered, the sun has been shining (literally and metaphorically) more and more in our side of the earth. It has been spreading positivity and warmth to me and my family including our window boxes plants whom I started to grow a few months back. Oh yes, what a nice season to bring up those window boxes planters hee hee.

Don't blame me, I have always love garden window boxes and despite the very chilly and harsh Winter season, I just had to plant and accessorize those window flower boxes. In fact, I told DH to purchase more window plant boxes from WindowBoxPlanters.com. You see, living in a confined apartment makes your creativity and love for nature grow fonder. We just love plants both inside and out of our home. You can find them in the bathroom, kitchen, living room and patio. That is why I love window box planters-type of greens because they are easy to maintain and very flexible in terms of decoration purposes.

care for a break?

"They say when the going gets tough, the tough gets going" and "When the stress levels are high, and then there's no way to avoid your stressors, time to have a break and move up!" These are 2 quotes I have been telling myself whenever the tides are low. Like right now when everything feels very routinary. I badly need that Myrtle Beach Resort vacation!

Just by looking at these Myrtle Beach Resorts and their Oceanfront Myrtle Beach Resort vacation packages, I cannot help but prod the husband more to finally take that much awaited Oceanfront Myrtle Beach Resorts vacation. Sometimes a good break is all we need to push that restart button in our lives. You would be surprised by the benefits vacations bring to our personal growth especially with a quiet and relaxing ambience like that of Myrtle Beaches. Check out Avista Resort for more information on Myrtle Beach and score their affordable oceanfront myrtle beach resort packages. Summer is just around the corner and yes, I can see sunshine now :P.

buh-bye fats.

For the past 3 days, I went into fasting. Something I have never done in my entire life and thought I could never do. You see, I was inspired by DH's Aunts and Uncle who are devout Christians. They would do fasting for a minimum of 10 days to a maximum of 40 days. You would be amazed how they do it. I did not do it out of losing weight, but it was more of spiritual. I only drunk water the whole 3 days. It was all about spiritual strength. On the 1st day, I had migraine, 2nd day, I was a bit lethargic and on the last day, I was energetic and did not even crave for food. Today, I ate my 1st meal of RICE, STEAK AND COKE---I almost did not finish my serving. I feel so much lighter and the 5 lbs that I lose along the process was just a bonus. I was able to prove, yet again that with God anything is possible :). I plan to do it again next week. It was such a good experience. What is nice about it is the fact that I lost some weight and since we are going for some snow skiing this weekend (our last Snow hurrah!), this Spyder clothing collection would look good on me because of the smaller frame :P.

fun day

Don't you just love pure bliss during weekends? What I mean is productive weekends yet meaningful ones because you still get to spend quality time with your family because weekends are supposed to be spent with them. This is one of the perks that I am very happy about being a work-at-home mom, I get to hit 2 birds with one stones, earning while savoring precious time with my family. This set-up has been working for me for almost 3 years now, although aside from the usual blogging opportunities that come my way, I also get the chance to answer paid surveys and would even asks my relatives to take surveys and make money. They love it! We do this during our weekly luncheon reunions.

If you search the internet there are a lot of ways to make decent amount of money if you just know where and what to research about. My dad was completely overwhelmed with the fact that I could earn while staying at home and simply logging on to my computer. I do not even have to report to an employer and I manage my own time. Isn't that fabulous. If you are interested or curios on how to complete surveys and them take home some earnings, you can check GetPaidToTry.com. Apart from this, there are a lot of ways to earn online, you just need to be very good at researching them or maybe you could even message me :P.

Despite the glee that I am experiencing now, I still miss the days where I get to work, dress up and interact with my colleagues. Someday soon I will have that day job I have been dreaming about.

reflect on this.

What does this saying says:
Always Put Yourself in Other's Shoes, If You Feel That it Hurts You, It Probably Hurts The Other Person Too.
Isn't that a wonderful statement, easy to say, harder to be done but yes, just a simple rule of thumb, do not do unto others what you do not want others to do to you. I guess with life's realities and being a human, being good can be such a challenge but if pays to always be on the good side, ALL THE TIME.

Spread goodness!

Happy Weekend!

Starting today, I will try my very best to harness positivity only so the world will smile back at me. Help me God, St. Therese and St. Jude. I know I will be an all-time-all-weather positive gal in due time.

Have a good weekend everyone!
Cheers to positivity!

getting there

Hubby and I loves houses and if given the chance, we both love to take the interior designing course. As you all know, we are currently looking for furniture for our future apartment. Apparently, both of us are so in to the minimalist style thus modern furniture. Last week, hubby showed a site that sells exterior shutters and other sites that feature contemporary designer dining sets from top Italian and European designers. Truly my bookmarked sites. They have a wide selection of modern italian designer dining sets which cater to every taste you have. Most of this dining sets can be purchased with big discounts. Not only that, they also have furniture for your bedroom, children's bedroom, play room and everything you need for your every minimalist and contemporary designed-home. I love all their designs and I want them. I literally salivate on every page hahaha! They were so cool, modern and contemporary. Hubby wanted all of them too. If you even include your email for their mailing list you could get up to 50% off on your next purchase. I have read their clients' testimonial which could be found at the lower left portion of the page and I tell you all of them were very happy with the products they purchased.

what-have-yous

I remember how tired my fingers and hands were last Christmas after writing almost 50greeting cards. You know why? because I have no address stickers for the envelopes. Just imagine writing your addresses in each and every envelope plus the personal greetings inside. I love surprising my friends with mails whether it be greeting cards or letters. I find it more personal than sending them e-mails. I also love receiving them and one of the best part of my day is checking the mailbox! Now that I have a week off from school, I will create 5 different designs for our address labels and order them at 123Print.com. This is where my aunt gets her printing services including: free business cards, checks, rubber stamps, announcements, and car magnets! What's nice is you can customize each on your own taste and liking! As soon as I get my orders, I am sending out the June celebrants greeting cards which have been very delayed. But I guess, it’s the thought that counts so don’t fret my friends, your cards will soon land on your mail boxes. Which reminds me, I need to shop for extra stock of birthday and other holiday cards because I am running out of stock!

cozy lair

Oh Gosh! I can't believe that looking for an apartment in this side of the world is excruciating. You have to make reservations and security deposits at least several months before your move. Yes, you read everything right, we are moving out and is searching for the best and most practical crib. But mind you, I got really excited when we checked out several apartments as lofts and cribs here are so posh! I can't wait to move to a new place, they are sooo spacious and very modern. Yey! Yey!

If only we live in North Carolina then these Wilmington NC apartments are too good a deal to pass. Anyways, I know by mid of this year and by the time our lease expires, we will be able to find a good and better new crib for my young family. Then if not, our current one is still A-okay. We will not settle for less, will keep finding until we find the best choice.
